Didem Varol

Creator of Plantgevity Nutrition Solutions

Hi, I’m Didem Varol, nice to meet you! I’m a Registered Dietitian and the creator of Plantgevity Nutrition Solutions.

Let’s be clear: there is no magic solution for health and longevity, but over time the food on the end of your fork makes a dramatic difference in how well you live (physically and mentally) and how long you live.

I’m passionate about the effects of foods on health and I want to share this passion with you.

I didn’t start out as a Dietitian, my first career was in engineering! I always had an interest in health and fitness but never knew how to pursue it. One day I had a random elevator conversation with a dietitian, and voila I discovered my passion. So four years and another degree later, I became a Registered Dietitian. With nearly 10 years of experience in public health, specifically in the field of chronic disease prevention, I’m launching Plantgevity Nutrition Solutions.

I was inspired to do so because I think that now, more than ever before, people are misguided as to what defines good nutrition. In fact, there is so much misinformation that, as a health care professional, I feel compelled to share with you the latest, overwhelming scientific evidence in support of plant-based nutrition.

In my personal life, I’m a busy mom to two young children, I enjoy being active, and I love cooking. I’m always trying new and healthy recipe ideas and look forward to sharing them with you!

Dietitians are regulated nutrition professionals; “dietitian” is a protected title by law, like a nurse or physician. To ensure you are accessing a qualified nutrition professional, always look for the credentials “RD”, Registered Dietitian.
